Curiosity Gazes

Date: 5-13-2006 Photo Model Permission: One of Legacy's darling kittens from Fairy Dust Siamese's kitten scrapbook. Fairy Dust's site makes me want a Siamese kitten so badly. Inspiration: I love Oriental paintings, first of all. There is something about the shades of pink and purple that they often use that just calls to me. Add in a Siamese and a pretty flower I just had to paint and I'm all set. This is a 5"x7" watercolor and acrylic painting that was given to my daughter to gift to her new step-mother for Mother's Day. My little girl said it reminded her of her step-mom's kitty, Fuzzles. Medium: Original is watercolor and acrylic on 140lb cold press ivory watercolor paper. Watermark is not on original.
