In a Bubble of Dreams

Date: 1992
Inspiration: Long before I found the internet I held the love of art very close. This began as an assignment in Drawing Class on perspective. Particularly, the perspective of the cliffs were what counted in the assignment. I drew the girl in charcoal and used watercolor pencils to add the drops of water. This is where my fascination with tendrils began. I turned the waterdrops into tendrils on future creations. Now, this one isn't exactly a fairy, but she is a fanciful female and I don't yet have a category for such things, nor do I have several paintings of that type.
Medium: Charcoal and watercolor pencils. Watermark is not on original.
